Classical 9 days tour in Greece and Folegandros Island

Upon your arrival at the Athens International airport Exclusive vip will be there waiting for you to come to your hotel in Athens.

Day 1

During the first day of the tour we will go early in the Acropolis and after a walk through the historic center of Athens. Noon in the narrow alleys of Plaka and the afternoon will depart for Cape Sounion to see the beautiful sunset and the Temple of Poseidon that dominates the cliff edge. Late in the evening we will arrive and rest at the hotel.

Day 2

Farewell to Athens and drive south to the magnificent city of Nafplio. Before we make a stop at the Corinth Canal, the Ancient Corinth, Mycenae and the archaeological site of Epidaurus. Once we finish the tour we will get to Nafplio, the first capital of Greece and a city gem. We will spend the night.

Day 3

Early in the morning, we leave Nafplio to go to Ancient Olympia. There will visit the archeological site of Ancient Olympia, which lies in the lush valley formed by Alfios river, where the first Olympic Games took place in 776 B.C. You can also visit the Temple of Zeus, the most celebrated sanctuary of ancient Greece. Phedias had created the gold and ivory statue, dedicated to Zeus, which was housing one of the 7 wonders of the Ancient world. Then see the temple of Hera, the shrine of Pelops (one of the oldest in the sanctuary), the Council house where the athletes took the Olympic oath, the Treasury houses, the Gymnasium and the Palestra, where they used to exercise for a month prior to the Games. Finally you will visit the stadium, where the marble starting blocks are still in position. Olympia became the most important religious and athletic centre in Greece. Its fame rests upon the Olympic Games, the greatest national festival and a highly prestigious one world-wide, which was held every four years to honor Zeus.Finally we visit the museun and we rest to olmpia for the night.

Day 4

We depart from Ancient Olympia with destination to Patras and through high bridge would get to Nafpaktos where he will rest at noon. Later we will find ourselves in the beautiful Galaxidi . Then the route will arrive in Delphi where you will stay overnight.

Day 5

Early at the morning of day 5 we visit the archaeological site of Delphi and the museum and than we have lunch in the adjoining stone-built village of Arachova. From there, our road leads to Meteora where we spend the night .

Day 6

During the orning time will do our visit to the monasteries of Meteora in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and in the afternoon we will take the way back to our hotel in Athens.

Day 7

Departure by ferry to Folegandros the morning and before noon will bring you to the picturesque harbor. From there you will be waiting for you to go to your hotel and then you are free to enjoy the magnificent beauty of the island. Overnight in Folegandros.

Day 8

Folegandros island.

Day 9

Return to Athens by boat in the late afternoon. Exclusive Vip will be waiting at the port to take you to your hotel.

Day 10

Departure for the airport with Exclusive Vip from the hotel and return home .
