Domaine Hatzimichalis

The Domaine Hatzimichalis is located in the region of Opountia Locris, in Atalante, Central Greece, 140-km north of Athens. It is open daily for visitors. We offer guided tours to the winery: visitors learn about the process of wine making in our modern and fully equipped state-of-the art facilities.
The tour starts from the vineyards, where grapes are carefully and tenderly cultivated. In the winery, visitors are introduced to the technologically advanced equipment that ensures the production of high quality wines.
Then visitors are guided in the underground cellars, where 2.500 French oak barrels are kept in ideal conditions of temperature and humidity. Small exhibitions along the way help visitors to understand the history of wine and learn more about the past while living in the present and envision the future.
A wine testing session completes the tour. Upon request, we can also organise lunch for our visitors. It is always our pleasure to welcome our guests in the Domaine Hatzimichalis.
